Relaxing, Tranquil, Humanist

Lab of the Dead hails an addicting plot, tranquil music and a refreshingly humanist perspective on the zombie apocalypse. While the psychology can be a little demented at times, the game leaves its players feeling good overall.

It is slow to start. And I did have to lower the image quality for performance reasons. But the game makes up for these through its tranquility. The humorous animations and script also contribute to the game's mood.

My only major complaint is that I've achieved 98.7% completion, rather than the 100% I was hoping for. The remaining 1.3% will never be gotten, because the only tasks I have left are tedious and less interesting than the intimate relationship I've formed with my she-zombie.

(POTENTIAL SPOILER AND OPINION FOLLOW)
If there's a cutscene I missed because I didn't achieve 100% completion, it should have triggered once the most philosophically humanist of items is displayed in the most appropriate manner to your zombie friend, if you know what I mean. That seems the most humanist of endings, after all, if you know what I mean. If you know what I mean.

You'll be saying, "Thanks!"

This game is short, yet sweet and satisfying. A definite sign of good game design. You'll be thanking the developer for having shared such a treat. I personally would have kept it all to myself.

Why so confusing???!!!!

There's too many options but I'm giving this a 10 for your effort better job next time?

Great Game, but hollow.

There's nothing I felt like I gained with my accomplishments. I really like the open world, but I also hate the fact that the game became so plain once I reached a certain level of power. Overall, it's a great game, but the lack of music, story, and point of playing means I'm probably not going to play this a second time with a new character, and definitely not with the one I played it with to start.

Very good game, with few improvements to be made.

It was a very great game overall. I just beat it. A few improvements that could be made would be to make a larger variety of textures. Fix the infinite gold issues with enemies (particularly the neverending ones at bosses), and balance out the weaponry vs gold. Way too easy to get all the best stuff.

Other than that, as simple as the game was, it was extremely fun to play.

A bit buggy, not too original, better UI please.

The game's a tad buggy, to start. I'll start on a bad note because this game isn't very original. Bugs occurred such as crashing, disappearing and non-gold-granting enemies upon sudden and terrifying destruction (bug when killing enemies for too much damage). I hear reports of higher levels (meaning more enemies, and probably some kind of memory problem) crashing, too.

The UI at first glace is crowded and took me a while to get used to. It has a nice technological feel to it, but it's lacking the easy to use reason for even using such a UI.

It's very unoriginal. Almost all of these clones of DTD are. It's quite sad. I like the enemy and room grid, but I can't stand playing the same game with what is basically a new skin.

Needs more Tweaking.

The game itself has been very fun, but the amount of tweaking done to make it actually playable for beginners, then create a gradual learning curve was non-existent.

You use the mouse to create rocks above your head to prevent some sort of enemies from invading your base. However, creating the rocks is not always so easy.

There is an unknown limit on rock size, and the energy meter is sometimes inaccurate. The invaders are extremely powerful. Simply having three in your base will most-likely mean instant death.

One of the best flash games made in a loong time.

Finally, 100% game completion. I can talk about it now :P The game's gameplay is stunningly awesome. I don't know what else to say O_O;; The only part that *wasn't* as fulfilling was the part whereas 100% game completion, I can't find a 110% bonus or some such.

You get to play through a ton of awesome newgrounds memes and totally own. It's every community's dream to have a game with them and their creations in it. The only thing this game's missing is an editor for users like us.
