Very Super Meat Boy-esque. I can dig it.

Although, as funny as the ending is, I feel like now nothing makes sense!

I like the concept and constraints. I just don't understand why this game was made intentionally tedious. Hard I do. Tedious I do not.

My advice? Use the letter "R" on your keyboard while playing this game...

Awesome game, by the way. I'd love to do more level editing for Newgrounds. Unfortunately, I was too heart-broken to reproduce this problem, but I think after failing to complete my own pattern, the spawn/exit point for my robot ceases to toggle in the level editor :(

I select a level, see a weird ship-looking thing shooting green balls and nothing else happens. What are the controls?

Use your head.

Nice concept! It wasn't fully explored or fleshed out, but man was this game fun to play around with.

I don't want to give five stars because I really wanted to rescue some kittens.

Maybe next time :)

This game comes with a simple, albeit fun atmosphere and attractive plot premise. The first few levels of the game play just fine, although some of the hints insulted my intelligence and ruined the potential for exploration. The combo system flows very well, although it's shallow.

Unfortunately, the game begins to feel poorly balanced as it progresses. Gold seems almost pointless because you hardly get a chance to spend it. Items are locked until you complete a tedious number of levels. Play strategy is limited - there's no real defense, agility, attack patterns or movement patterns. It's a side-scrolling button masher. And yes, enemies are hard due to lack of aforementioned play variation.

All in all, it didn't feel very rewarding. It was fun to play for a while, but on the whole, it aroused expectations from the player that it couldn't fulfill.

Amazing as always, Ed.

The story is really what kept me playing this game. It wasn't very challenging once upgrades were brought into the equation, but I kept on playing just so that I could read more about the universe.

I'm also amazed that this game was created with Stencyl. Bravo.

I don't know why, but I think this is great. Not necessarily a ton of fun, but a cool "interactive poster" type game.

I'm not a huge horror movie fan, so I may appreciate this less than the rest of Newgrounds. I wanted to give it a lower score because it's not fun to me, but I think the artwork is preventing me from doing so.

Great job! This was really good for a project made in 48 hours.

It was spooky, personal and technically impressive for such a small project.

Granted, the game play does feel a little slow at times, but it's counter-balanced by the perpetual fear of being discovered by those terrifying little kids.
