Try going easy on the juiciness from now on. It makes your game better, 100% of the time. That's too reliable. Maybe go for 90% from now on?

So far this game has made me run through mostly-empty levels,, has punished me for exploration and has bored me with otherwise shallow game play.

I'm going to continue playing because the story you've presented seems interesting enough to tolerate such fundamental design mistakes. However, I wouldn't normally do this, so I'm being mean and giving you a low rating.

I'm glad you put so much heart into this game, otherwise I couldn't give it such a positive rating. The game is indeed very glitch and as a programmer, it's frustrating to see this in such a simple game.

How hard is it to check if player.x < targetValue? Or to resolve isLeftPressed and isRightPressed booleans before taking action?

Oh well. I guess not everyone enjoys programming to that extent. In that case, maybe find someone who knows how to write code to help you. A great little project so far - please finish it.

Great game. Straight and to the point. Reminds me of Icy Tower a bit...

[PixEvo - The Fountain]

My only gripe with this game is that it can punish your mistakes pretty hard, considering how slow the main character moves. That being said, the negative reinforcement teaches you quickly to memorize a map's layout.
