Seriously, you guys rock. I don't know what else to say. You guys are so creative. Do you even mean to be? I mean, lots of people are creative. I'm creative. It's the implementation and coming up with one that's tough. 4 days? Seriously? Do you guys just sit around until a game idea comes to mind that can actually be implemented in that kind of time?

I don't know how you guys do it. Seems to me like magic. A+ great job.

molkman responds:

Thank you so much. We like to have lunch while thinking of ideas. That seems to be the best time.

I started playing this game and returned home after 20 years. I really liked the ending. You could imagine how annoying it was that this guy couldn't turn around.

molkman responds:

Don't foget yo family, man.

Unfortunately, I hit a few glitches and had to restart the game. It's crazy how this game is more fun and immersive than most of the "professional" content out on the market right now. It goes to show that with even a little bit of love and care, minimalist games can say a lot... to your heart.

Kolumbo responds:

True, thanks.

Neat. Artistic. Unique.

However, the achievements list is seriously lacking. Okay, so maybe games shouldn't need little icon achievements to tell you whether or not you did something right. I would agree, if the in-game rewards for performing different actions weren't so boring.

PS: For players of the game, you can safely hold down space until the wolf flashes red above its head three times. Then, let go and press space again immediately afterwards. That's how I got rid of all the cops 8)

molkman responds:

On one of our previous game, we made one achievement for every possible ending variation, but people got annoyed by that, because they had to play through the whole game anew for every medal. So this time, we thought we better not overdo it with medals.

I feel like an alternative title for this game would be "Perceiving Patterns". It's amazing how long the ultimately simple patterns took me to understand and master.

Beautiful game. Great, chiptuney, but also dark soundtrack. Kind of like the stuff I've heard from Cyriak. (Look him up on Youtube.)

We need more stuff like this. Shame you're not being well-received. I went through the same thing with my game, but I still love it! And this one, too! :)

ax23w4 responds:

Thanks! I'm not really taking negative responses too close. This game wasn't supposed to make everybody happy so of course there are people that don't like it.

Oh, how I love your games, ConnorUllmann.

The fact that you went from platformers to a strategic shooter is even more amazing.

... :D

Any chance you can hook an audible text reader into this wonderful program?

deathink responds:

you never know...

I select a level, see a weird ship-looking thing shooting green balls and nothing else happens. What are the controls?

MoonMana responds:

Use your head.

Nice concept! It wasn't fully explored or fleshed out, but man was this game fun to play around with.

I don't want to give five stars because I really wanted to rescue some kittens.

VascoF responds:

Maybe next time :)

In all honesty, I hate giving preliminary reviews, but I'll admit that I wasn't able to finish this game due to time constraints.

I think it's great fun. A bit slow-paced, but once it got into the Zelda-esque puzzles I knew I was in for some serious time. Were you also influence by Earthbound and Pokemon? The coloring of the artwork and the design of the landscapes suggests so to me.

Kcori responds:

I did play Earthbound recently, but I wasn't thinking about it at all when doing the art. It's VERY possible I was subconsciously influenced by it though.
